A Heartfelt Thanks.
Well, THANK-YOU Tasmania!
What an overwhelming response we have had this week.
My inbox has been inundated with well wishes, thanks and offers of contribution. Thank-you so much, if I have not yet replied I apologise. I promise I will respond as soon as I can.
We officially launched LOIS. on Wednesday the 14th of December at The Rosny Barn with Susan Parr – Chair of the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) opening the event. Susan and I have known each other for years, in fact Susan has known me for nearly 20 years so it was pretty special to have her involved in launching this exciting project.
Susan is a pioneer. She is the first woman to Chair the TCCI in it’s 164 year history.
I spoke briefly (and tried not to burst into tears) about LOIS. our mission and about our cause Ovarian Cancer Australia.
During the evening we chatted, laughed and celebrated the milestone of bringing this publication to life.
Thank you to my lovely friends and family for ensuring the launch ran smoothly. For making sure I had plenty of water, a glass of champagne and for helping make our launch so special.
I have been truly humbled and blessed to connect with so many wonderful Tasmanian women over the last week.
I crave connection and I am excited to get out and about over the next week to meet more wonderful Tasmanian business owners.
It’s all about people, LOIS. is not just a newspaper, together we are building community and I am so excited to see where 2017 takes us.
I want to wish you all a very happy holidays, be safe and love one another.
Samantha X
